Welcome to Clan MacIntyre Society's genealogy page! We hope the Genealogy Corner provides helpful information on research aids, Scottish history, informative books, and upcoming events. We are also building a list of genealogy Web sites, so if you know of one, please contact Todd Oberlander to request adding the site to our Genealogy on the Web page. Clan MacIntyre Society sponsors three major genealogy expeditions each year in addition to study classes. Our focus is to assist members in their search for ancestors. Our expeditions have been to several major sites with genealogical information. We have been to the Pacific Northwest National Archives, Seattle Public Library, Heritage Quest library, Fiske Genealogy Library, the Seattle Genealogical Society and many others. We usually have meetings in February, April, and November. Clan MacIntyre Society members receive notification of each genealogy outing, with detailed directions to the selected location. In addition, each expedition in announced in our quarterly newsletter. Clan MacIntyre Society is also building an extensive MacIntyre/Wright genealogy database. Your help is needed to build our growing database of family information. Send us your information, even if all the information you have is about you. Members and non-members are encouraged to participate. If you would like more information about our genealogy outings or database, contact our President, Barbara Carmel. We have several aids to assist you in your search. These include:
